In 2008 I competed for the 1st time at the Missouri Taxidermists Competition and Convention held in Columbia MO, and I was very pleased with the results. I won Best of Show in the Professional Division that year, and that win just drove me to compete more. Since then I have actively and successfully competed in multiple states, and even at the World Taxidermy Championships in May, 2009. In the last 4 years I have won 4 MO State Championships as well as a Best of Kansas award, a Best of Show Runner-up in Nebraska and several other industry awards. My hard work and willingness to further my education is paying off with great results.
